Fost Large PET Felt Acoustic Lamp brings acoustic control to spaces that need it most. Its 118cm dome makes a visual statement in offices, conference rooms, and public spaces while absorbing ambient noise. The duotone design contrasts exterior and interior colours, drawing attention to the lamp and inviting people to gather beneath its enveloping form. Available in 11 PET felt blends.

A lamp sized for large tables and open spaces. The 118cm diameter creates substantial sound-absorbing volume, reducing noise where people meet and converse. The PET felt shell dampens ambient sound while the contrasting white interior reflects light downward, creating a quieter, calmer environment beneath the dome.

Eleven unique PET felt blends, each with its own texture and depth. Minor colour variations between batches are a natural result of the recycled content in the material.

Made from recycled PET felt

The lampshade is made from PET felt, produced from recycled plastic bottles. De Vorm's single-mould pressing technique shapes a flat felt sheet into the 118cm ribbed dome in one production step. The result is a durable, sound-absorbing shell with distinctive texture. PET felt is both recycled and recyclable.
